The passport applications are received in the Embassy from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM. The time of delivery of passport after rendering the services is from 2.30 PM to 4.30 PM. Passports are issued within 5 to 10 days.
For the residents of the Republic of Liberia and the Republic of Guinea (countries that are concurrently accredited to this Mission), passport applications may be submitted to the Honorary Consulate General of India, Monrovia, and Honorary Consulate of India, Conakry, respectively during the normal working hours. The Passport fee and ICWF charges in both countries may be deposited in the Bank accounts which are as follows:
The passport application should be complete in all respects. Necessary documentary proof will be required for any change in the details/particulars of the applicant.
For change in address, documentary proof viz. electricity/water/telephone/gas connection bill, voter’s ID card, ration card, statement of running bank account. If applicant submits only the copy of ration card as proof of address, it should be accompanied by one more proof of address. In case of a minor, the photocopy of the passports of the parents may be used as proof of address.
For inclusion of spouse name in the new passport, a marriage certificate showing the name of the applicant and duly issued by the Office of Marriage Registrar in India, may be attached with the application.
For proof of date of birth, birth certificate (born on or after 26 Jan 1989) issued by a Municipal Authority or District Office of the Registrar of Births & Deaths may be attached. Otherwise, date of birth certificate from the school last attended by the applicant or any other recognized educational institution.
The fee schedule for Passport services is given below. In addition, a levy of CFA 1650 / US$3 is charged on every passport applied.

For Police Clearance Certificate, the application should be submitted along with the passport and with the specific reason mentioned for making endorsement in the passport.
